Paya Lebar Methodist Girls' Primary School
I remember when I was in P5 like that, they chose certain people to take part in math olympiad and they gave these students training. I wanted to take part too, but was told I wasnt' good enough and would bring down the school standards. HAHA. The results wasn't good at all. Well, I accepted the fact that maybe I wasn't good in math until I went to St Nicks. There, they allowed me to take part in maths olympiad and I won a prize every time I took part. When I went to the Chinese High for some prize presentation, I didn't see any white belts.
But, PLMGPS was a very good school with good teachers and good students until the principal change. Mrs Lim Kim Chee was strict (she made me fa2 zhan4 for 2hours under the sun for scratching my nose when she was talking when I was in P2) but she is effective.
I heard from parents that the new principal, something Ho, is proud and insincere. She think she's of a higher species than parents. She also thinks people are dying to go to her school. Parents who have little daughters living in Hougang, Serangoon this area, please prove her wrong. I had the misfortune to meet her too and to say that wadever Ho is "proud and insincere" would be the understatement of the year.
Whatever happened to my alma mater? My wonderful teachers there who used to be HODs or sth, now are teaching primary1s and 2s.
Os is going to be over and so I want to sell my textbooks and stuff. So I asked my sister if she have any friends with siblings in secondary school. I cannot sell people close to me coz that wouldn't be very nice. My sister gave me the telephaone number of this classmate who got an elder sister so I called her.
Here's a conversation I had with this insolent brat, Sam Yiting of P5Gentleness from PLMGPS.
Me: Hello? Is this Yiting? I'm Belverlin's sister. May I know your sister's name?
the PL girl: (drawls) wwwhhhhyyyyy????
Me: I want to see if she wants textbooks. How old is she?
the PL girl: (drawls) wwwhhhhyyyyy????
Me: Can I speak to her please?
the PL girl: (drawls) wwwhhhhyyyyy????
Me: Forget it. Bye.
the PL girl: (drawls) bbbyyyyeeee!!
Now I know why our teachers always say we reflect on our school. After this encounter with such a churlish brat, I don't want to see my books to them anymore. They probably won't understand the useful notes inside. notes of an A1 student.
