Went wild wild wet today with Bel and Phyllis. It's really nothing much.
-The children's playground must even queue up to slide the water slides...which are so not scary, you have to paddle yourself forwards even.
-Then there's the waterworks. It's just 2 water slides not any more thrilling then those in the children's playground.
-The sky rider is just tricycle with a view.
-Slideup is the only ride which is thrilling. Just 1second of sheer excitement and it's over. That's about all the rides. pretty little.
The only attractions i like is the Tsuanmi and the Shoik River. Tsuanmi is a replica of a beach. I just sat by the "seaside" and let the waves hit me. so shuang! I stayed there for more than an hour. The river also quite fun. We really made a fool of ourselves there. First we acted as though we are shipwrecked and screamed and screamed, trying to swim against the current(which is pretty impossible). Then we sang songs loudly. So AA! Then we waved to the all lifeguards we passed and splashed other people. I think we swam more than 50times round the river. Very fun lor.
I met quite a few people there. Phyllis Shung and her friends... and made some new friends. A malay family and a girl named Cindy.
We were cruising along the river when Phyllis started pushing a girl sitting on a tube. So we just kidnapped her and pushed her away from her boyfriend. Then we pushed her like more than 10 times around the river. Her boyfriend gave up chasing us.
She said she's from Ipoh. I didn't believe. But then her accent dosen't sound like that of a singaporean. So then I asked her to speak her languageto prove. She say she speak cantonese. Well, my cantonese quite limited. I only know(at that time) how to say "Have you eaten", "You are very pretty" and "I love you". I said to her the first 2. the last phrase i thought wasn't appropiate to say to a stranger. haha.
Her response to my "You are very pretty" is "You are prettier". haha. I'm flattered but it's probably just a polite response.
Then we followed her to the Tsuanmi, even though we went there thrice already. We just didn't want to let her go so easily. Her poor boyfriend waiting to be with her alone. until we had to go home then we let her off.
Don't think wildwildwet in all is worth the money, but i don't mind going again if we rent a chalet at downtown east, which will be loads of fun coz there's the shopping, arcade, and escape theme park.
