boo hoo!! I'm so sad the sci fair is over! It's like over so fast. We din even get to see many of the other exhibits!! there was one on preventing smelly feet, fibres in ice-cream, carcinogenic potatos...

the acting minister of edn came. I would have boxed him up if not for the policeman guarding him. I hate the education system!! Yes, anyway, he was qt biased. in his speech, he only mentioned a few exhibits. Then the channel news asia people only interview the students presenting those exhibits. Like the infra-red sensor dustbin.

actually tjc is rather nice. I mean the people and spirit. the canteen's not very good though. Food's neither nice nor cheap. The building is ok. not as sophisticated at acjc. But still not bad. I won a tjc windbreaker. It's black. Quite nice and fluffy. The sci teacher who gave it to me said "I want to see you here next year ah!" haha. Maybe she might have the chance to. I'll consider it. But it's rather far from my house.

There's this tjc sci teacher whose name really rings a bell in most of us, but i'm not going to put her name here of course. Well, i think she's very pretty. She have the same kind of regal grace and elegance as Ms Tan...and the same kind of puzzled look when she caught me staring at her. She was listening to this nanowires presentation and so i just walked up and listened too, but of course i couldn't understand a thing. Shen Ying was very da4 dan3!! She go and take photos of her lor!! hahaz. We took a lot of photos of ourselves. That petite sci teacher came to our booth on thurs and i explained our thing to her. I hope her interest was genuine...

Hmm... i like blogger's nice new chic layout. Was doing eng compo thingie today. Made me think bout the education system again. i seriously hate it!!!!!! eng is probably the only subject that does not require any mugging. I love english. Esp today's eng MCQ exercise. shiok man!! except those parts on adjectives, verbs, prepositions(which is quite a lot actually), other answers you can get not by mugging but just instinct and experience.

If the edn system want to bring up a batch of hardworking people who study for tests in order to get that coveted cert, then why not get some cows? They are hardworking. Why in the world are we trained to memorize when the computer has been invented???!!!! What we need are quick efficient talents who possess not mindmapping skills to remember facts, but organization and leadership skills!!!

And you!! No wonder you can't get into ld. your acting sucks! even worse than mine!! SO DON'T ACT!!!! you'll find your stage somewhere but not here!! You'll never know i'm talking about you because you ego is just too swollen to believe anyone will ever detest you. Crazy woman! Stop asking people to stop doing the things that you yourself do secretely every day. isn't it obvious you're even worse than the rest of us??

Why did i intergrate what i'm suppossed to differntiate??!! i have this garfield plush wearing a tshirt reading "don't be careless" I should have listened to it. but i guess a leopard never changes its spots. never mind. hush dear.. don't be sad anymore.

Phew! Napfa is over!!! So happy. That means no more 2.4 for another 1 year!! I don't mind the 5 items actually. Except sit and reach. i like broad jump the most. I don't know why most people can't do it.

2.4km- 14.18 Deproved from last year! So sad. I started walking at the 3rd or fourth round. I was like walk sprint walk sprint. Luckily I made it! I missed by a nano second to get A in sec2.

sit-and reach- 52cm. Oh man. I absolutely hate this! I opened my legs very wide. this kind of thing must go lenient teachers. I went to Ms Elaine Lim last year and got 55cm

Sit ups- 37. Ms Nair was the teacher and she was like "Wow, Kimberle!" 37 is average. nothing wow-able. must be I look so weak that she didn't think i could go past 30. Same as last year.

Shuttle run- 10.7s I like this too. But this year they made us run along the corridor. So slidy. i was wearing shoes and was sliding all the way. Luckily the next round i took off shoes and sprinted. I think i got 10.4 last year. never mind. Last year got track to run on. it's not like i've deproved.

pull ups- 25. I think Mrs Gurong quite lenient. I hate those teacher who count like this : "1, 1, 1, 1, 2, 3, 3, 3, 3, 4, 5, 5, 5, 5, 5, 5, 5, 6, 6, 6" I gained 3kgs since last year. What's worse is that my growth in height is too minute and cannot even be measured my a micrometer screw gauge. i did 26 last year. Actually Mr Phee's counting is quite ok too.

broad jump- 199cm. Aiyah. I miss by 1cm!!! 2m is my target since p5(I got 192cm then) and I've yet to reach it. My new target is 230cm now. i went to Mrs Hoo. She is very nice. But this kind of thing nice or not nice don't matter. It's sit and reach and pull ups that matter. Mrs Koh was joking that if you don't get 2m she won't measure for you. so funny.

If only napfa only the 5 static stations (As Mr Phee calls it). Then I wouldn't mind monthly napfa tests...
