Very hyper at Toa Payoh stadium today. We were cheering our Hwa Chong bballers. It's funny how words can be so distorted when cheered by a few hundred people. Like how our "Defend!! Defend!!" can sound like "VJ! VJ!" and Vj's "Fight on!" can sound like "Hwa Chong!". But the most funny one is perhaps TJ's "Let's Go, TJ! Let's Go!"

Our girls team got champs. They were super cool man! Female spectators! Pls stay straight! Hmmm... I felt VJ's girls team was very elegant. Anyway, I felt the HC spirit! Yar, was cheering my voicebox out. Suddenly I remember what this teacher said. That the bballers are "not playing for their own glory but for the school"...my school...our school.

You know, these sports people are not the only people who bring glory to the school. Yet, they receive the most recognition, probably the most funds and definately the most support. What about our friends who are taking part in Maths Olympiads? Those who took part in some interschool calligraphy competition? Those who won "highly commendable" in the commonwealth essay competition? Don't they bring glory to the school too? I really hope one day these people will be given more recognition and support.

In St Nicks, the sports girls are so lucky to have Ms Susan as their head. Some small little achievement, she will blow it up, make long announcements, say until that sports team like very zai like that. Man. I still rmb how i rolled my eyes everytime it came. Meanwhile, people like us are winning science comps silently.

Sore throat! Yay! Can blame it for any poor performance for clao oral tmr.
