Felt inspired by a book I read couple of years earlier. 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens. Of course, academic wise, not much inspiration. These kind of books written for American teens one. And they are much different from us coz they are more into things like boyfriends, girlfriends, makeup, clothes... at a much younger age.
What I'm inspired by, is this article about this guy who wanted to grow bigger. So he ate a lot, slept a lot and exercised a lot. I eat very little, sleep even less and the exercises I do is negligible. So I'm going to write my plan here, so that I'll see it often and feel motivated!
Nutrition
1. Eat during 2 breaks in school if possible
2. Drink 1 mug of milk every night before I sleep (Should be drinking 4 to meet my daily calcium needs, but my stomach can't take milk in the morning)
3. Try to eat 1 egg every day and more proteins too. yeah... this one is more for weight gain... tgt with the exercises, build muscle mass.
Exercise
1. 100 jumps every day (Actually, 400 is the optimum, but like any other Singporean teen, I got too little time!)
2. Swim every Saturday. At least 40 laps.
3. Ermm, go for at least 1 wushu* session every week.
Sleep
1. Sleep in a completely dark room
2. Sleep without pillow
3. Sleep before 11pm (this is near impossible. Why can't school start later?? If I wake up at 6pm, I'll need to sleep at 10pm to get my 8hours. And growth spurting ppl like me should sleep for 10hrs lor!!)
*Aiyah, I don't like wushu lor. Never help you grow taller one. In fact, might make you grow shorter. And I totally suck at it. I'm already one of the last 5 in class for every subject except GP. Why make myself demoralised further by joining something where I feel so inadequete and miserable? And trouble others who might not to be too willing to be troubled too? I'll be thick skinned if I stay. And now they got like little or no stretching. It's my favourite part. I like to just sit there and stretch.
Yar. I'm just going to have lousy CCA records with no S papers. Translates to no scholarships. Which I hope don't translate to no university education. I have no idea NUS school fees are how much. $200 000 a year or something? But probably uni that time I'll be very free, can work. I will not give tuition to primary school kids... very scary.
