Today is a slack day man. Went for blood count test again. Wow, my platelets level is above the normal range of 140k-460k, it's 500k! I can donate platelets alr, since Singapore needs it. Today's doctor told me WHO standard say below 50k must have platelets transfusion alr. Mine dropped to 41k before. But was told drop below 30k then need transfusion. And he said one of his patient's platelets level dropped to 1k, and still didn't have transfusion coz it rose to 10k before they could give him. I really should donate platelets, since I can't donate blood.
Yar, then waiting for blood test results, waiting for doctor...did a lot of shopping. Bought:
2 pairs of Nike socks
1 pair of Addidas socks
1 pair of Addidas shoes
1 pair of pink sport shoes
1 pair of heeled slippers
2 sets of pink pajamas (My Melody and Dora! If you don't know who Dora is, your childhood is slightly different from mine)
lots of sweets, cakes, green tea
Shall not say the prices, too reflective of my mother's financial status.
Almost bought an imitation Von Dutch handbag, but I told my mother no. Too ex. Really can't believe I forked out more than twice that amount for that 37degrees bag. Splurge of the year man. But at least I'm using it. I'm really not the typical slipper, nail-polish, handbag or earrings-collecting girl. Maybe I do have a softspot for earrings, but $2 is the limit, unless it has Swarkwoski crystals or sth.
Then there were 2 pairs of slippers. One was super elegant, with a row of crystals(I like crystals), but the heels only 1 inch high. The other was simple and 1.5 inch high. I got the latter coz both me and my mother agree I need height more than anything else. This stupid issue has is really stopping me from living the life i want to live. When can I break free?
Confession: I always look at other girls' legs, esp their calves coz the HC uniform expose that part. Better stop it, or it'll turn into a fetish.
