1. Stepford Wives. To me, this is the best of the lot. I wouldn't mind a nice pretty robotic and controllable maid to wait on me. Ok, now I agree with Ying it should have been PG instead of NC16. Man! Couldn't rent "Closer" thanks to it being M18. Note I didn't use the word "watch".
2. Jail Breakers. This is very funny, quite good for destressing. Got this miraculously foolish girl who wanted to marry a miraculously ugly guy just because he sang a miraculously disgusting song.
3. Sth along the lines of Crying out Love in the Middle of the World. Or Shouting out Love in the Center of the Earth. Hello?? I'm supposed to cry here?? I used to slam skeptics of teenage love, now I'm becoming a cynic myself. A reason why I cry so easily when watching movies is coz I don't hold back my tears. Coz those tears are actually more due to frustrations or sadness I was surpressing, than the movie itself. Ah, just like me to blame those tears on some ficticious leukemia girl or on uncomfortable contacts.
4. Shutter. Wahhhhhhh. Chieh Hwee scared me more than the movie la! Before I watched, she said "Can die!", "Scariest movie I've ever watched". Make me so scared of closing my eyes when I was bathing, coz you don't know what you'll see when you open them. Well, the movie does have some gory and "shocking" parts, but few rounds of bridge is enough to make me forget bout it... erm termporarily. My imagination is super wild, so still might not be able to sleep tonight.
5. Finding Neverland. Didn't manage to watch finish.
6. Shanghai Knights. Didn't watched the front part, but it was nice. Maybe cos it was a comedy as well, and I like comedies. Shall reconsider swallowing back my words that action is the only genre of movie that I don't really like. Horror is nice at that moment, but the after-effect sucks. For romance and love, don't like the cliched normal boy-love-girl kind, daily life alr can see so many. Lesbian is more interesting. Or incest. The Flowers in the Attic film really did no justice to the book. Cut off all the incestous scenes!
