Thought of a lot of things I want to write here when I was swimming. Now forget already. I'm very pleased today coz I went swimming! Haha, that's 100laps in 4days!! -beams proudly!- Hmmm but Robert Langdon in Angels and Demons swims 50laps a day. 100laps a week is just nice for normal non-sporty girls i guess. Hmmm though it's at the pool, saw more spare tires than 6packs. Micheal Phelps has such a nice long torso.
At first I was quite sad coz going swimming for me is very troublesome. Need to take bus, means need to wear contacts to see the bus number, bring wallet and hp, bring shampoo and clothes to shower there... I think the time before and after the swim is lomger than the swim itself. These few days too lazy to put sunblock. Or maybe it was Faqeehah reminding us that we need Vitamin D to complement calcium, that made me less resistant to getting tanned. Hmmmm, but I found a sample of Neostrata Daytime protection lotion thing in my bag, with SPF-15, so I just put on my face before I entered the pool.
Then when I first entered the pool, got quite a lot of people for a weekday. So I did silly things to warm up like competing with total strangers, and counting how many breaths I need to swim one lap. (For the record it's FIVE!) And tried to learn butterfly stroke, but dare not malu myself in a public pool. Then I timed myself for the goldstar long distance component. Yups, no kick! (pun intended)=)))

Haven't tried diving from a 3m platform. But at least I don't need to worry bout my swimming trunks dropping off.
Then I tried swimming freestyle. Last sunday morning, when I was cold and sleepy, I just wet my toes at the pool edge, then my coach say "10laps frontcrawl". I rather 50laps breaststroke la. But no use protesting, so i swam lor. After 3 laps felt giddy liao. Aiyah. Dunno why like that. But today I think i know why already. I took a breath every 4strokes. Today i tried breathing every 2 strokes, can sustain leh! And quite shuang too, coz after a while you can feel your arms getting tired. That's the main purpose of exercise la, to feel tired. Then after swimming so much freestyle, swim breaststroke a bit sian already.
Oh then i also tried the flip. Click here! When competitive swimmers reach the wall and they need to turn back and continue swimming, they do a flip and at the same time orientate their body stomach down while kicking the wall with their both legs. I failed pathetically. After flipping, I end up with stomach facing upwards. Can't orientate my body and kick the wall at the same time.
