Damn not fair la. I've been training pullups for so long yet I don't see any bulge in my arms. People like Ying and Ryl never do anything except play some instrument, also can show off a bulge when they flex their muscles. I don't think they are closet trainers coz they only have bulge in one arm, and they don't like it too. Really not fair, people who can only do half the number of inclined pullups I can do, also have bigger muscles than me!!!!
Why like everything I do, fail to get results one?
Hmmm, I went to search how to build muscles. Dunno which site says must have calorie excess. Then that will be converted to muscle mass when you train. I'm quite sure I'm taking in more calories than I can burn each day coz I eat a lot. After calculating my basal metabolism (I burn 1140cal/day) and counting calories, I realise I really do take in a lot of excess calories. Maybe it's the wrong kind of calories?
I was quite shocked after my calculations. Each session at the pool only burn 250cal for me, and one pack of potato chips is 300cal, one bar of snickers is also 300cal. I don't swim everyday, and I don't eat just one bar of snickers every day. I'm still gaining weight, so I hope my weight gain is coz of muscle mass and not cos i'm getting fat eating too much.
My high protein diet is like not working. Quite hard to eat a high protein diet in Singapore. Look at a bowl of fishball noodle soup. Noodle is starch, fishball is starch, fishcake is starch. So sian.
I shall not focus of diet and focus on exercise. More pullups! I'm going to be able to do one pullup very very very very soon. I can already do one from hanging position, but with my palms facing myself. It's time to train triceps! Dips are not as fun to do as pullups. But I don't dare go gym workout, unless i'm the only person is the gym, so can only do dips to train triceps.
Cross training suppose to help too. Dunno what else I can do besides swimming and pullups. Walking? Maybe. Rollerblade also can. No running. Running sucks. IF ONLY NAPFA CAN CHANGE 2.4km RUN TO 2.4km SWIM. Hahahaha then it will be my turn to get a comfortable A!!
