SSEF 2006 is very fun!!! When I went saw the ssef participants for the first time at the briefing, I realised i knew lots of people there. Got different kinds of "knew" of course. First kind is friends, can talk kind. Next is acquaintance, say "hi, how's school?" kind. Then is those kind that when you see them, just smile or wave to acknowledge. Then lastly is the kind that you know they exist, then make eye contact, then look away. Aiyo, this last kind is very awkward.
During SSEF, even strangers can just start talking. Like today, mostly talk about judges. Haha, mainly asking "You how many judges already?" or complaining about danm weird ones. Yups, everyone is so friendly and open. That's what I like about it. Then can go visiting booths!! Puisan and I so lucky, our judging finish early. There's a Jonathan on both sides of my booth. Haha. And opposite got Weisheng. And behind got Janaki and Deng Ying. And furthur up got Betty, and furthur back got Weiying, Jiali, Linlin. And diagonally down got Tim. And furthur away got Meng Yang, Zheng Yi, the 77 people(like Eric, Su Wai, Kwong Ee) and the RJ people (like Gillianne, Wendy, Jing Jing, Yuxin...), and Di Junwei, and Baijie and her boyfriend! Haha! Zong3 zhi1 got lots of people! Took some photos today. Gonna take more tmr.
Talking about weird judges, 2 out of 3 of our judges is weird la. The first don't let us present and ask weird random questions that we don't understand. The 3rd one was worse. Before I presented, he took the index cards away from my hands and say "I don't like people to read from scripts." Wah, I was frightened man. Wah lao, without script, I really got nothing to say liao. Sighh. Heck la. The experience and fun alone is more than what I bargained for.
Got shuaiges there! Got this really cute chinese high boy. He's like my height and really look prepubescent. Of course there are the other kind of cute. Hahaha. Don't really have chiobus. Coz there are less girls there. You know, girls look nice in those white long sleeved blouses, when they take off their blazer. Very cool look. Especially the thin and fair girls. Got the ice queen look. hahaha.
Everyone go get attached! Just heard from the news that single people are more likely to commit suicide. Dunno hear wrongly or not. But makes sense. Got someone to share stress with.
Okay, results out liao. We never win anything as expected, but at least i never leave the place empty handed. Took some pictures. Anyway, got quite few hc people I know win something. Weisheng got bronze. Well, rj and nj snapped up most of the prizes. Linlin got bronze, and this chs boy who did on filtration got silver. He is a good presenter.
