Went for a scholarship selection thingie. The whole thing lasted 6 freaking hours.

First they made us build some tower with straws, while being blindfolded. Everyone fighting to talk to show that they are "leaders". Nothing to say also just talk. Lousy ideas also just talk. Cos we all know nobody cares bout how high our tower is, just who can stand out as the leader. I super hate being blindfolded. And was super sleepy, so I just sat down on the floor and snoozed.

Then they made us sit in a circle take turns to raise hands and share bout the experience. Trying hard not to roll my eyes at all the politically correct answers like:

"I really want to thank all my teammates for the effort they've put in. i don't see them as my competitors but people i can share this experience with and learn from..."

"This activity was really enjoyable because we got to work together as a team to bring out the best in everyone...."

"Thru this activity I learnt that cooperation is very important. And as a leader, we not only need to have the best ideas but also how to convey those ideas across. Everyone in my team are leaders in their own rights..."

Since I had nothing to say, i din say anything.

Then they made us play The Arena. We're oppposition. Then just before we stood up to present our case, they swap over. Opposition become prop and vice versa. Okay damn fun. Cos I din prepare anything to say also. The ppl today either arent fantastic at impromtu, or just too nervous and obsessed with standing out and impressing the assessors.

It gets more fun. Then we roleplayed some ppl who are supposed to appeal to be let into a bomb shelter. I was a LESBIAN TEACHER AND MUSICIAN. So funny k. But they decided not to let me in. Cos who needs teachers and music in times of crisis. And I cant reproduce and repopulate the earth cos i'm les. They almost let the gay guy in cos he say he'll turn straight. HAHAHA.

Me: The gay guy said he'll turn straight. But I don't believe.
Assessor: Why?
Me: Cos this kinda thing very hard one what!
Assessor: How do you know?
Me: HMMMMM -frowns-
Assessor: Uhh.. okay never mind.

Then when everyone was given chance to talk, all started thanking here and there. Then I asked them how can they tell who are the sincere ones. And ranted bout how ppl are being hypocrites, how unfair it is for shy ppl. I think i'm like super lowclass and childish. Dressed that way too. In sneakers and converse sling bag. While everyone in like courtshoes and frillly blouse. Anyway they're choosing 10 from 725 ppl. Probability bloody low. Even if I go full costume also no use one.

Then LUNCH! Nice nice. But lunch also being assessed. Wad de. I hope i don't seem more interested in the grilled chicken than knowing more bout the company's profile.

Then after that I wandered around in the hotel. I got lost trying to walk from hotel to mrt. So i just wandered around for like an hour.

Then I went to visit other hotels. Got more and more lost.

Around chinatown/clarke quay area. Never been to before.

Okayy the river. I can follow the river. Will lead somewhere. Then I saw pan pac from far. And a circle that look like the ferris wheel. I wanna sit that! Who wanna go wimme?

Nv see this place before. So I walked in.

This is how it's like inside. Then I walked one round and got lost again. Duno how to exit. Came out from dunno where. Lost sight of pan pac. Saw so many HDB flats! Dunno whether I'm out of town alr or sth.
