I've been feeling so frustrated, so worried. =( Joel said "Whatever you want to eat, no problem. Just learn how to cook only." (I want chilli crabs, which is virtually impossible to cook since there are no crabs here, but that's besides the point.) It reminded me I used to believe the world was mine and I could make things happen; have anything I want. If I'm interested in a hottie, just put on my makeup and thick skin. If I want to solve the rubik's cube, just google the algorithm. If I want to go anywhere, just go ahead and book the airticks. If I want to work in anyone's lab, just smile and ask nicely. There's a whole world at my feet!

But now so different. I'm helplessly facing so many roadblocks. I hate bureaucracy. But it's so so much more than anal bureaucracy in my way now.
