Happy Chinese New Year Everyone!

Last week’s been a busy, busy week- and that’s an understatement. After steamboats 3 nights in a row, on Sat, Sun, Mon, I almost concussed on Tuesday. So I ponned school to rest and made some soup with steamboaty leftovers. Wed dinner at Bella and watched Wolfman (zz no comments). Arghh if only Valentines’ Day wasn’t sold out! Thursday dinner at Queens’, cos my favourite Strada was fully booked. I still want my Valentines’ steak-and-tiramisu dinner at Strada. Waiting for the 50% offer to come on again. Friday had another steamboat with Sprout cos there were just too much steamboaty leftovers. I did manage to squeeze in a gym session before dinner too. My weekly 3k jog and pullups has become monthly, but it’s going to be weekly again. And the weekend, Bath/Stonehenge/Lacock/CastleCombe with the brother.

Jane Austen and me in Bath!

I was looking through Secret Melbourne, Secret London, Secret Singapore pages on facebook, and it really struck me, that Singapore is still home. It’s been such a long time since I missed home. When my roomie (from America) told me she’s homesick, I struggled to recall the homesick feeling during my year1 days so I could put myself in her shoes. But it’s way worse for her, since there are virtually no Americans here at all. Afterall, I’m only comfortable here cos there are so many Sgreans and Msians ahem. =)) Since the last time I was home, I went to Madrid, Venice, Norway, Budapest, Vienna, Salzburg, Linz, Zurich, Interlaken, Jungfrau (the top of Europe!!), Laussane, London (x10), Bath. Planning to go Netherlands (I call it Holland though... aiyah just say Amsterdam la) and Barcelona. I’m also quite bent on going New York City this winter. What was I saying? Oh right... home. Okay bedtime already la; getting incoherent.

Nights like these, I want my pretty bento box. =((((((((((((( I’m ALWAYS hungry (except when I’m sleeping).

I see so many people. People I meet at CUMSA events, people I stalk on facebook (not many really, usually strangers rather than friends), even people on my own MSN list. I wonder where they come from, what they do at night, why I don’t know them yet. Really piques my interest.
